Safety Precautions and Protocols at the Opera House

The safety and health of Opera House patrons, performers, staff and volunteers is our top priority.The Lexington Opera House and Lexington Center will be compliant with current restrictions and directives from Team Kentucky, Healthy at Work.  Please review the following procedures and practices to ensure the health and safety of everyone who attends.

Entry and Exit

Entry and Exit:  Entry for Mini-Golf is limited to the Short Street entrance.  Exit is limited only through the Broadway Doors, under the marquee.

Temperature Scan:  A non-touch forehead thermometer will read the temperature of each guest upon entry.  A temperature of less than 100.4 degrees is required.

Face Coverings:  All patrons, employees, and volunteers are required to wear face coverings while inside the venue.  Please wear your own.  Disposable masks may be available upon request.

Symptom Self-Screening:  Do not enter the venue if you have a cough, fever or any other signs or symptoms of COVID-19.  If you have observable symptoms, you will be refused entry and offered a refund for the full value of your ticket price.

Capacity and Common Areas

Capacity Limits:  Due to physical distancing between parties in the theatre, capacity will be limited. Parties are limited to 4 players. Please maintain a minimum 6 foot distance between those not in your party. Current Team Kentucky – Healthy at Work restrictions will apply.

Restrooms:  Restroom capacity is limited and available only on Level 1 in the Broadway Lobby.

Common Areas:  Maintain a minimum of 6-foot physical distance from those not in your own party while in shared spaces. Please be respectful of your proximity to other guests and employees.

Concessions:  Food and Drink will not be available at the Opera House.  Until restrictions are eased, outside bottled water only will be permitted.

Tickets and Purchasing

Mobile Ticketing:  Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and are restrcited to mobile delivery.  Please make sure your phone is charged and your tickets are downloaded.

By attending the Lexington Opera House, each visitor voluntarily assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agrees to release the Lexington Opera House and Lexington Center Corporation from any liability related to such exposure regardless of any action or inaction by the Lexington Opera House or another visitor, guest, or employee of the Opera House.  Thank you for supporting the Lexington Opera House and for helping to keep each other healthy and safe.
